About Me

EDUCATION

I received my Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Nutrition from the University of Guelph, one of Canada’s top rated nutrition programs. I graduated in 2016 with honours and a convocation award for my academic achievements.

I completed an accredited Dietetic Internship program in 2017 in London, Ontario, and passed the Canadian Dietetics Registration Examination (CDRE) the same year.

I love to learn and believe knowledge unlocks so many doors. In 2020, I decided to take the leap and return to school (part-time, so that I could keep my full-time job in bariatrics!). I am due to graduate with my Masters of Health Management from McMaster University in 2023.

EXPERIENCE

I started my career as a dietitian in 2017 in medicine and general surgery. These endeavors provided me with experience in diabetes, renal care, respirology, nutrition education and counseling, as well as nutrition support in acute care.

It wasn’t until I got hired in a bariatric surgical program in 2019 that I realized my true passion as a dietitian. I have been working full time in bariatric surgery since that time, and never looked back! I’ve helped hundreds of patients be successful with preparing for surgery and meeting their nutrition goals afterwards, and can’t wait to help you on this amazing journey as well.
